For each project at home, nationally, and internationally, EFI gathers and receives various goods and assets for distribution. More important than the logistics, administration, and transportation of these materials, however, is the spiritual, social, and physical care provided to those in need. It is in this spirit of helping countless lives move out of their “Egypt” and into a place of promise, that EFI is honored to introduce our On Cheryl’s Wings division in memory of Cheryl Wilson Hairston.
Launched in October 2006, On Cheryl’s Wings will provide shipping containers that will be used for the worldwide transportation of goods and resources as well as storehouse space for the miraculous harvests being realized in Africa.

On it’s way to the Houston Port for it’s maiden voyage across the Atlantic to Kenya, this container holds farm equipment, medical, and other supplies. These supplies will help support our partners and to bring aid to the community where the new farm was developed in Kakamega, Kenya. The container arrived in the Spring of 2007 and brought much needed assistance in the planting and land maintenance of the farm, overseen by Pastor Paul Ligono, which is producing giant corn and other vegetables for the region.
Cheryl lived a life of compassionate service to her family, friends, and whomever had a need. EFI is proud to continue blessing others through her legacy…On Cheryl’s Wings.
