Miracle Crops of Corn and Beans in Kenya

As part of our microeconomic development in Kenya, EFI supported the development of a farm that has produced miracle crops of “GIANT” corn and beans.  These crops supplement the food services program for a school of 450 students while providing 40 jobs affecting 40 families in the community around Kakamega.  We have partnered with Living Waters International to drill a deepwater well to accommodate the farm, and installed an irrigation system to support the farm.
