Eileen M. H. Hairel, Director of Administration
Eileen Hairel is Director of Administration for Exodus Force Initiative (EFI).  In this role, Eileen manages the day-to-day operations of EFI.  Eileen brings over ten years experience in nonprofit management and administration to EFI as well as a passion for poverty alleviation in Africa. 

Prior to joining EFI, Eileen managed the Comparative Nonprofit Sector project, a systematic effort to analyze the scope, structure, financing, and role of the nonprofit sector in 39 countries, at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Civil Society Studies. 

She has also worked on community empowerment and social inclusion programs at the World Bank and on international education programs and grants administration at NAFSA: The Association of International Educators.  Eileen also volunteers her time as an ambassador for the Mustard Seed Project’s student sponsorship program at the Sonrise High School in Musanze, Rwanda.

Eileen holds a Masters Degree in Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins University, as well as certificates in International Studies from the Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and nonprofit management from the Hopkins Center for Civil Society Studies. Her undergraduate degree is in International Affairs from the University of Mary Washington.
